About Broaddus Hospital
Broaddus Hospital in Philippi is one of the newest hospital facilities in West Virginia. A sister hospital to Davis Memorial, Broaddus offers specialty clinics including oncology, orthopedics, podiatry and surgery. The new hospital includes:
- 12 acute/swing beds
- 60 bed skilled nursing unit
- In-house pharmacy
- Inpatient and outpatient PT, OT, and ST
- Comprehensive lab services
- Diagnostic Radiology including 4-slice CT, Ultrasound, Flouroscopy, and NCR Certified Mammography
- PACS provides 24/7 access for difficult interpretations
Broaddus Hospital also houses Mansfield Place, a 60-bed skilled nursing unit that stresses not only a high quality of care but also a high quality of life for its patients. Nurses, physical and occupational therapists, a speech pathologist, a dietician, a licensed social worker, and an activities coordinator work with physicians and patients and their families to tailor a care plan for each patient. These team members work together to give patients independence to the furthest extent possible. Each semi-private room has a bathroom and a window overlooking attractively manicured grounds. Physicians from Broaddus Hospital are always available to serve Mansfield Place residents.
