Broaddus Hospital is a well respected, progressive, critical access hospital that has seen almost no managed care. Broaddus Hospital is a Member of Davis Health and a sister hospital with Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.
Broaduus Hospital moved into a newly constructed facility in October 2000.
The new hospital includes:
- 12 acute/swing beds.
- 60 bed skilled nursing unit.
- In-house pharmacy.
- Inpatient and outpatient PT, OT & ST.
- Comprehensive lab services.
- Diagnostic Radiology including 4-slice CT, Ultrasound, Flourscopy and NCR Certified Mammography.
- PACS provides 24/7 access for difficult interpretations.
Davis Memorial offers state of the art diagnostic services, including 64-slice CT and inhouse MRI to support your practice. A new Radiation/Medical Oncology center enables us to provide comprehensive cancer care locally, and out Cardiology group performs diagnostic Cardiac caths in our local cath lab.
Widely recognized for its beautiful scenery, rich historical heritage and strong traditional family values, Philippi is home to Alderson Broaddus College, a 4year liberal arts college with outstanding Nursing and Physician Assistant Programs. Students from both programs do clinical rotations at Broaddus Hospital. Part time academic/teaching positions are a possibility at A-B College.
