Inpatient Services
At
Broaddus Hospital, a 12-bed wing supports acute care patients requiring
short-stay hospitalizations. These rooms have state-of-the-art equipment
for patient care, including telemetry monitoring. A staff of RNs, LPNs,
PCAs and other health professionals team up in the care of medical
patients from pediatric to geriatric. Inpatient services include, but are
not limited to, internal nutrition and nutrition assessments, patient education
and patient/family counseling, intake/output monitoring, physical therapy,
occupational therapy, and speech/swallowing therapy.
